External Relations Update – October 2020

Steve O'Brien

Three months into my tenure as the new Senior Assistant Dean for External Relations for the Santa Clara University School of Law, and the Santa Clara Law difference is coming into clear view. Complemented by a team of talented colleagues, an institution steeped in the Catholic Jesuit tradition and a law school committed to preparing today’s students to be leaders in tomorrow’s ever-changing world, I am excited to start articulating the case for “Why Santa Clara Law?” As a hub of diverse scholarship and experiential learning opportunities for prospective students, a lifelong home for our alumni and a trustworthy partner within the Silicon Valley business and legal communities, Santa Clara Law is well positioned to distinguish itself from peer institutions when it harnesses the full potential of its own vibrant network of constituents. And that is where the External Relations team comes into the equation.
