On January 30, more than 120 people gathered at Santa Clara Law to watch a film and hear a panel discussion in honor of Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution, which honors the Japanese American civil rights activist who challenged the constitutionality of the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII.
This event supports the Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights scholarship for law students, and the event honored Judge Shelyna Brown JD ’96 and the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley. See photos and read more about the event.
Tech Edge JD is in need of mentors for the incoming 2019 cohort. If connecting with students during their law school journey interests you, we’d love to meet you. All experience levels are needed! Diverse backgrounds are encouraged to participate. Learn more and fill out the mentor interest form by visiting law.scu.edu/techedge.
