91 Bennett Chin joined the firm of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP as partner in the firm’s Honolulu office, where he will work with the construction and commercial litigation practice groups.
98 Meredith McKenzie has been reappointed by Governor Gavin Newson to the Dental Board of California where she has served since 2013. She is also a vice president and deputy general counsel at Juniper Networks.
05 Benjamin Haslam was appointed Pacific County Prosecutor by the Pacific County Board of Commissioners of Washington State. He became chief deputy prosecutor and deputy coroner for the prosecutor’s office in 2018.
1977 Martin J. Martinez, July 24, 2020. Born in East Los Angeles, Martin completed his undergraduate education at California State University and earned a Master’s in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles. After earning his JD from SCU, he began a legal career that spanned nearly 40 years. A member of both the California and New York State bars, Martin was a Certified Criminal Law Specialist and was a passionate advocate of the constitutional rights afforded to all of his clients. He attended the Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands and later was a Public Lecturer at European University in Tbilisi, Georgia where he taught Constitutional Law. Martin is survived by his beloved wife, Diana; his son, Emilio, and daughter, Elise.
